Dominique Despointes is a seasoned real estate professional. He started his career in 2003, selling beachfront condos on Clearwater Beach. Realizing his passion for selling entire condo buildings, he joined the Condo Store as a sales agent and quickly became a sales manager, selling condos throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough County. After a downturn in the market in 2008, Dominique took a year off to reflect on his career and eventually teamed up with Charlie Brasington from WCI to acquire and sell defunct condo buildings.
Dominique's success in selling condos caught the attention of Smith and Associates Real Estate, and he was quickly recruited to work on their developer services team. He started off by selling Grand Central at Kennedy and partnered with Sam Chandler, with whom he has been working for the past 10 years. Together, they have sold multiple condo communities in the Channelside area, specializing in resale, condominiums for sale and rent, and working with investors and have over 30 years of combined experience in the industry.
Dominique and Sam have been pioneers in the Channelside neighborhood, having sold over 150,000,000 dollars in real estate in the area over the past decade. They are known as downtown condo specialists and have been involved in many HOA projects, understanding the intricacies of buying a condo and working with the HOA. The team has also volunteered on many HOA committees in the past.
As a full-service team, Dominique and Sam have successfully grown their brand from onsite agents to a team specializing in rental, buyer, and seller services.
